Brassaï – The Secret Signs of Paris

Brassaï is one of the best-known photographers in history. In the early 1930s he set out on long nocturnal walks through Paris with his camera. The exhibition brings together more than 160 black-and-white photographs around three themes: the city and its people, portraits of artists and their work, and his documentation of graffiti. Bars, dance halls, workers and police officers caught in the glow of street lamps – a journey back to Paris after dark.
