Mirjam Lamut: These Four Walls
Mirjam Lamut revisits family colour negatives from around the turn of the millennium, focusing on the rooms behind the celebrations.
In These Four Walls, Mirjam Lamut returns to a family archive of colour negatives dating from around the turn of the millennium. Photographs of birthdays, parties and other important family celebrations provide the starting point for the work. Her attention falls on their backgrounds, the rooms where life unfolded beyond those festive moments. The exhibition runs at Fönstret at Centrum för fotografi in Stockholm from 6 November to 4 December 2026.
